This 70 ft. x 30 ft. mural, “Wishes and Reflections”, is in the Wish Tree Courtyard just off Artist Alley near Fretboard Coffee and Wishflour Bakery.
Shannon Webster‘s mural honors our community and its history by bringing people together in this courtyard. It‘s a place of connection and camaraderie, where we can reflect on the past and look toward the future. Among the featured images are the Tiger Hotel, Ernie’s Diner, Jesse Hall, the Mizzou Columns, and Columbia’s City Hall. To the right is a Wish Tree, inviting us to create a brighter tomorrow. With something new to discover each time, this mural is sure to bring joy to all who visit.
About the Artist
Shannon Webster is a local Columbia artist with an art studio and gallery located in this same alleyway just a few steps away. He is best known for his large-scale paintings of cityscapes and landscapes and as a designer for several national brands and community organizations.
