Orr Street Studios has been home to Columbia artists since 2007, when landlord Mark Timberlake and artist Chris Teeter transformed an industrial warehouse in the heart of what has become the North Village Arts District. Behind Chris’ 16 giant, rolling studio doors (elegant sculptures on wheels), resident artists create and display their art in a supportive and creative community. The center gallery hosts open-call exhibits each year between rotating showcases of local artists. The gallery area is an unforgettable venue to rent for business events, weddings and more, and children can enjoy the free quarterly interactive, art-filled Second Saturday for Kids events.
Come for a conversation, a celebration, or a quiet stroll through an art-filled gallery and experience the power of art.
