Julie Youmans

Travel, photography, ceramics and fiber arts fill Julie Youmans retirement time, plus a recently painted theatre set of 16 “faux Rothkos” for Talking Horse Productions. Creating tiles, murals and sculpture – ceramics that enhance a living space – is a favorite. Youmans worked in radio with authors and radio theatre and in cultural arts at the Missouri Folk Arts Program doing research for educational programming. Art after work hours included playing and performing Renaissance and Medieval music for more than 30 years.
